ATTN: His Excellency Minister of Education
                        Mr. Pefkios Georgiades

Your Excellency

We are parents from Bulgaria and our children are attending the Melkonian Educational Institute. We are writing to you because several times we have sent in writing our deep concerns regarding the future of our children to A.G.B.U. and we have explained the difficult situation that we are in right now. And its is the end of academic year and so far there is no result if the school will remain open or close.

We have started to receive calls on behalf of the school advising us not to send our children back to Melkonian next year.

If our children will come back to public or private schools in Bulgaria they will lose from 3 to 5 years depending on the grade they attend. The educational systems are completely different and this is not giving any chance for our children to finish their education. The negative effect will be huge. It is out of the question after 2-5 years attending the M.E.I.

Our children are to be left without the possibility to attend school. This is something which concerns their human right for education. For us there is only one way – for our children to finish school in Cyprus, the only solution for our children to have education. We think that it is needless to explain to you in detail what it means for our children to lose 3-5 years.

Your Excellency, we are despaired!

Your are our last hope for a solution to be found for our children.

We are asking for your interference in order  for our children to finish their education at the Melkonian Educational Institute. This is the only way for them as there is no OTHER ALTERNATIVE!

Sincerely
