It is true, then, that what the genocide of the Armenian people failed to achieve in 1915, with generation after generation of survivors rebuilding the nation, the AGBU has wiped out with a decision that will curse the Central Board members to their graves.
Little did these innoce
nt little boys, Goruyn and
Charents, know that having lived on the Melkonian compound for the past two
years, where they adopted a family of more than 200 brothers and sisters, they
would be thrown out onto the streets, just like our compatriots were persecuted
in the Baku pogroms or the massacres of Adana.
What will Goruyn and Charents think of the “Armenian” leaders who, without a single shred of remorse, have signed the death sentence of an establishment that has faced the enemy for 80 years and built new generations of true Armenians?
Goruyn and Charents are the next generation of Melkoniantsis. They will return in September and each September after that. It is our duty to stop the plunder of the Melkonian estate by the greedy Central Board of the AGBU and their servants in Cyprus.
We will not give up, the struggle continues, our legal battle has just begun.
We will win.
